We were vacationing in Fort Walton Beach when Isidore brought us a lot of rain and rough surf. So we decided to drive to my favorite place on earth! I was so excited! We had been only one time before, which was last Sept., and had stayed at the BWV. I wasn't too sure about staying at POFQ. I was sure pleasantly surprised. The whole New Orleans theme is incredible, from the names of the sidewalks (Rue D'Baga) to the beautiful landscaping and even the restrooms near the food court with the pull-chain toilets! We (DH, 2 DS, and myself) were there for only two nights but it was a great end to our vacation. The food court was busy and loud but fun. The pool was nice but the slide was a little too tame for DSs' tastes. I would definitely recommend the French Quarter to everyone. Let me know if you have any questions.

If my brain was functioning I'd ask questions, but right now, I'm just too excited!!

Hi Sue...
Glad you had a great time. My husband, 14 mo. old son, and I are going down this Sat. (Yea!). Can you recommend any specific rooms or buildings? We'd like to be close to the restaurants, stores, pool, etc.

Thanks,
Linda

Linda,
We stayed in building 7 which was pretty far from the food court and pool area. I know buildings 4 and 5 are close to everything so you may want to request those. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. POFQ is a beautiful place. My ten yr. old loved the beingets for breakfast from the food court. -Sue
