Great slides?

Hi we will be staying off-site for part of our trip, too, and my son and I love the pools with the really cool slides. Anyone know of some hotels that offer this? Thank you so much!

The Nick hotel is very popular for its slides and mini "water park."
We've never stayed there but ds8 would love to!

We've stayed at the Nick Hotel. It is really good for kids. You didn't mention his age. There are no scary slides, so might be a bit lame for say the kids over age 12 or so. But they will still use it. Just don't expect huge water park like slides, but they are good sized.

We are water people...we've done the theme parks and enjoy them. But for us it's all about the water, slides and swimming. I would highly recommend the Disney water parks, Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. Both of them are AWESOME!! Imagine all of the fun of a theme park, but much cooler and your feet don't hurt from walking at the end of the day.

As an adult I like both of the parks, but I find Typhoon Lagoon to be more adult like and relaxing. Blizzard Beach is a great hit with kids say age 8-13, they have a great tween area. Both parks offer areas for the little tykes and just like the Disney theme parks there is something for everyone.

Guess what I'm trying to say is if you really enjoy the water and slides going to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon is a must! You won't regret it...not to mention if you go first thing in the morning and your son brings his goggles, he can dive down in the lazy river and collect money that fell from peoples pockets the day before. My son collects almost enough to pay for his admission each time.

Wait until my ds8 hears this! He is a bit small for his age and I don't know if it's cuz he's so close to the ground or what, but he finds $$ everywhere, esp. going thru airport security. The more he finds, the more he looks.
We LOVE TL too!

Other vacation club (timeshare) style resorts have good pools: Sheraton Vistana, Horizons by Marriott, etc. FWIW.
