Great service from WL Lost and Found

We just got back from the Wilderness Lodge, and my husband left behind a sweatshirt in the room. We called when we got home, but Lost and Found was closed, so he left a brief message on the machine. I just got a call back. She said they had the sweatshirt, and would mail it to our home for free! I was surprised and offered to pay for shipping, but she said "no, we will pay, have a great evening". She already had my address. This is just one example of many of why I love Disney so much. I found all the CM's to be friendly, helpful and attentive. No wonder we keep going back.

we just returned from the WL . The first time we stayed there I lost a solid gold braclet ( i thought at the pool) I mentioned it at the front desk and they said they would have a lifegaurd dive for it in the morning. we left early for the park and when we returned there was my braclet next to the ice bucket on a little towel. I coul'nt believe it .. how nice We just love that place..only one of the reasons

My dd3 left her little stuffed piggy and her small pillow. These items are her most prized possesions and she lost them the first night. I filled out a form at guest services and the next day we found both items placed on her bed. We were very happy with all the staff at the lodge.

when we went to the wilderness lodge when i was a kid my mom lost her gold necklace at the boat dock and the divers couldnt find it so they gave us a free night

That is great to hear!

Not to hijack the thread...but DD lost her crown (snow white) on the grounds at the Contemporary. We called and left a message and they called back, said it had been turned in and mailed it to us (free, also!)

I also lost my black zip up jacket on the monorail and someone turned it in and it was at central lost and found (at the TTC.)

Gotta love WDW!
