GREAT Sale at the Disney Store!

Hi All - My 5 yo DD and I just got back from the Disney Store in the Danbury Fair Mall where we went to stock up on all things Disney before our Aug. trip. Just wanted to let you know they are having a great 50% off sale! : We got T-Shirts (Minnie, Princesses, Nemo) for $2.49! They also had cute skorts with matching tops for $3.99 a piece! She even got a cute Sleeping Beauty charm bracelet for .49! They had boys items on sale as well. If there's a Disney store near you run (don't walk!) because the sale is over next Tues. and, at least the one near me, was running out of sizes pretty quickly.

Thanks for the news on the sale. I wish they would carry more clothes for older children and adults. Ours doesn't have very much.

BTW - I used to live in Danbury and went the the Danbury FAIR...when it was a fair... not a mall. I've been to the mall, too. They built it when I was living in Danbury.

Our Disney Store closed and the closest one is 2 hours away. I miss it so much

Hey Lora - I grew up in Danbury too so the Fair was a big part of my childhood! I'm sorry my kids never got the chance to go - it's such a big part of Danbury history. Personally I would trade the mall any day to have the Fair back!

I always read the forums on my lunch and when I saw your post, I went over to the mall...about 2 minutes away and got some goodies.

I went and got Tinkerbell dolls that you can change their clothes for 3.74. These normally ran 16.50. They remind me of Polly pocket type dolls. I also got a Tinkerbell in a plastic globe that lights up. Tinks wings flutter when you push a button. It was only 2.50. They also had ariel necklaces that light up for cheap. I live close to Winston-Salem NC. I also purchased these things called cubies. They ran normally 6.50 each. I got them for 1.25. They are like blocks and when you stack them, they sing in harmony. I bought like twelve of these. They have almost all of the disney characters excluding princess. Everything was such a great deal.

I got my Cubies for $.99. I bought a Mickey for DS and a Minnie for DD. These should be great for annoying DH on the drive down.

I had bought a couple of things last week, but thanks to you guys, I returned it all, bought it again, bought more and got $5 back!

You can't beat $2.50 for a Disney shirt to wear to WDW!

Thank you so much!!! I ran right over and got 4 T shirts (2 each for DS7 and DS9) and a skort each for DD5 and DD3 and a birthday present for my nephew, a watch and a princess crown hanging for the girl's room: all for $32!!! We are all set for WDW in Sept!!! Now I need something for me....

At our local Disney store they were handing out 15% off coupons you could use on top of the savings, all you had to do was ask for these.
