I JUST GOT A GREAT RATE FROM NATIONAL!! FOR A WEEK IN MAY, THE 4TH TO THE 11TH, EMERALD EISLE, 93.31!!

I USED 5760339 WITH EWEB IN THE PRODUCT RATE CODE, I ALSO HAVE A COUPON 10008199 THAT I GOT OFF THE NET.

THIS IS A REDUCTION OF HALF FROM THE LAST RATE I GOT.

well to begin with EWEB is a product rate for weekends

the 10008199 comes up with

The request returned the following errors

Maximum rental length conflict with coupon

the contract id for 4 to the 11 comes up with total of 153$ (not including the coupon id which it says is not valid )

can you provide what the coupon id says?

and what is the company the contract id is connected to?

if as you said you got this reservation for 94$ taxes in ....u did indeed get a good deal

but not one that i can replicate at the moment

FINALLY !!!
Just got the rate I worked so hard for-

pickup Intermediate Emerald Isle car April 21- at Ft Lauderdale
will have car until April 29th w/return at Orlando-

$176.13 total taxes & fees included !!

using DWEB
6600330 Priceless code
and $20.00 Entertainment Coupon 10008615

I'm now ready !!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I am interested in how you got that rate as well. My dates are the same as yours - May 4 - 11. The cheapest I've been able to get is $144 with all taxes and fees (8 days).

I put in the wrong coupon, try 10008198, the 8199 is for a free day which will not work with a week long rental. Try the contract code 5901600 with the eweb also and see what you get, try various combinations.

I have a rate of 135.39 less the discounts of 27.08 and 15.00 for 93.31 before tax. Good luck!

Have you tried the Priceless contract ID #6600330? It looks like it gives you an even better base rate. You may want to try it and compare.......

Could you tell me what the code 5901600 is for. I just want to make sure that it's something I'm allowed to use before using it. It does give a pretty nice discount. I looked on mousesavers but couldn't find it. (visa code, or other type of club)?

It gave me the same rate as the priceless rate. all very good rates mind you.

It is for the now defunct Disney Club. I would not chance using it since the club stopped on 12/31/03.

the defunct Disney Club contract id was 5042974, if the information from my mailings from Disney Club was correct

just tried the contract id 5042974 and it seems to give a 5% discount

Maybe this will help clear the confusion...We will be in FL 6/16-6/30, i.e., 2 weeks. I've been checking car rates constantly, first for one 2week rental and then for 2 one-week rentals (don't mind return trip to MCO to save $$$). Last night around 8pm (EDT) my BIL called to say he'd just made a National EA ressie for $130, incl taxes and fees for their trip 6/13-6/20. About 8:30 I hopped on to National and got intermed. EA for $282, incl taxes and fees, for 2 weeks, so I grabbed the ressie. Then I tried the one week and one week tactic. First week, got $13) (like BIL), but then National wouldn't take the res for the 2nd week. I kept getting "This has been returned for the following errors" message, but no errors would show up! When I finally got the system to accept my request, it came back at $155 all included for the 2nd week. Seems like National had a price increase, mid-reservation! Anyhow, I'm happy with the $282; this was the 1 week plus 1 week rate I had thru Herts (AAA rate plus coupon), but now I don't have to take the shuttle OR return to MCO mid-vacation! BTW, I used the Carlson Travel Agency contract code from mousesavers.com and a coupon for $20 off per week from BJ's, available in the store or on-line. I can't imagine that you'll need a BJ's membership card as the one I go to (Portsmouth, NH, when down visiting DSis and BIL) let's anyone walk in and use club for 5% surcharge, no membership needed.

5901600 is the contract code I always used for Disney Club. It was actually the "old/good" code. It is written on my memo pad and the one I used for a long time, so, this is one I am 100% sure of. :)

Okay here's mine for May.

EA $130.47 all inclusive.

Codes

Contract ID 5760339 Carlson

Coupon ID 1009013 BJ's

DWEB

Just did it without DWEB and it is the same so don't use it.

That code is, indeed, the older Disney Club contract number that always gave an amazing discount. Last year, before the DC closed, they came out with another contract number that didn't give as good a discount, 5042974.

They both still work but you are taking a risk using them since Disney Club is no more.

If you make a reservation with either of these numbers, you'll see right on your reservation "Disney Club discount"...at least that's what it said on mine when I tried it back in February.

I just tried that 5901600 code and it came up with $122.56.

It just says discount on the receipt. Beattyfamily, when you used

it in February did it work???

I have to rent 2 cars so I was hoping to get it down to less than

$240.00. This gets it close. But I don't know if I should use it.

I don't have the FL entertainment book coupon. So I've not tried that code at all. Is there a place to print it off the web? Do you have to use the coupon when you get the car? Can you use Quick rent with this coupon?

So many questions, so little time. :hyper:

you have to have a physical coupon to present to the booth

try www.mousesavers.com

she often has codes and places to print off coupons such as vacation outlet which i think used to have one for 15$ off

National Coupons are in all editions of the Entertainment book IIRC. You can pick up a book for $10 now ($15 after shipping).

I meant when I made the reservation in February, not when I picked up the car. I have since canceled that reservation as I didn't want to take a chance since DC is no more.

But when I did book it using DC, my confirmation EMAIL states:

Contract ID: 5901600
Company Association: DISNEY CLUB

I still happen to have the confirmation email. That's how I knew.

I don't know if anyone has used that code yet in 2004. My fear is that they might ask for the DC card??
