GREAT rate at National!

Since I'm not renting at the airport the arpt concession doesn't factor in for us. I'm using Aeroplan FF Contract ID (15%) and the Continental Airlines FF Contract ID (20%) - you have to be a member of their programs though (free enrollment).

With Emerald Reserve, you are limited to whatever size vehicle you reserved. So if your reservation is for a full size, you can ONLY choose from the full size row.

Do you have to reserve thru the Emerald Club in order to get credit for FF miles for your rental? It looks like it to me, but I want to make sure.

You do- or you can send your receipt in after the fact and the FF program will credit you as well.

Is anyone else renting in September? I have made reservations and have been watching to see if the rate goes down before our upcoming trip. Instead of going down, they are going back up! Has anyone else noticed this for their travel dates.....?

Questions Questions Questions!

Can you use your Emerald Club membership, the Priceless code, and the Entertainment coupon on 1 rental? Will your Emerald Club benefits still kick in using a different Contract ID than the club??

Yup-no problems. Doing it this time (using FF instead of priceless contract ID) and have for my last two rentals. Never a problem but if you want to make sure call their 800 #.

Northwest Airlines is having a promotion to give you more frequent flyer miles when you rent a car, but you have to sign up for the promotion before the rental takes place and we would have to use the Club in order to get the credit for FF miles.

I'm renting in Sept. Since I switched my reservation to National last week, it's gone up a couple of dollars.

Oh, and I'm using Emerald Club, priceless code & entertainment coupon all on my rental.
