GREAT rate at National!

Where are all these rates. I have combined all codes and can't get anything under $230 for an intermediate for 8 days in October. I hope prices drop as we get closer.

I booked my August rental months ago, maybe in February and it hasn't budged once. I'm so bummed. This is the first time this has happened to me where it stays the same and never goes down. This is also the most I've paid in awhile.

Of course, I will check again today and tomorrow but I won't hold my breath.

punkin-I'm cancelling a midsize from Alamo today-8 days Oct for total of $183.52.
We are Quicksilver members so don't know if that makes a difference.

Ouch-just ran that same reservation using same dates codes-midsize in now showing $342.21.
What a jump!

Using Alamo's online special it came down to $231.63

Yes, that's my problem, mom_rules. The numbers I'm getting are astronomical. I've been on every day and can't seem to get anything. The numbers are so high I have not made any ressie yet. Worst comes to worst, I'll just rent for two days one way and use disney transport.

I've used Payless with no complaints. It isn't the Ritz of car rental places but they are usually dirt cheap. I agree that in terminal place are far more convenient but in a pinch...

Wonder if the September rise in rates has anything to do with damage from the hurricane - maybe they lost some of their cars - I would guess there had to be some out there that were damaged!

I doubt it had anything to do with the hurricane, but, more than likely supply and demand. They are insured in case of loss.

I just ran your dates and got a rate of $192.56, including taxes. I used the priceless code (6600330) for the contract id and also used the entertainment coupon for $20 off (10008615). I left the product rate code blank (my ressie for later in Oct. is also better without "wweb"). I hope this helps!!

you are right about the wweb code, it kicks in a base rate of 175$ when you use it

Thank you ladyjayhawk. I made the ressie (even tho I don't have the entertainment coupon-I'll sign up for free on the website to get it I guess) but I'm still hoping for lower rates. Last timie I went to florida, I paid about $130 including everything for 1 week.
