Using my Emerald Club (that I got for free thanks to the information on Mousesavers) for the first time, and got an AMAZING rate using the Priceless Vacation code (again, thanks Mousesavers!) and an Entertainment coupon.

What is that amazing rate? $177 inclusive for an intermediate!!! That's after all taxes and fees and whatnot.

My travel dates are 9/13 - 9/23, so it's a 10 day rental.

WOO HOO!

Can you please give me the coupon ID number from the entertainment booK? I would like to check a reservation I have and see if your rate is cheaper than mine. Also what is the Priceless code that you used. Thanks a bunch.

The priceless vacation contract ID is 6600330.

The entertainment coupon ID is 10008615

Anyone rented a conv. from National lately?

What did you get? Their site says Camaro (or similar) but they
don't make them anymore. Alamo says Sebring (or similar)-confirmation from National says Cavalier (or similar).

Just wanted to make sure you knew that National does collect the entertainment coupons (so if you don't already have the book, you'll need to get one before you go). They don't ask for anything to use the Priceless vacation code, though.

Best wishes -

It is mostly Sebrings.

Thanks, I was getting worried about the cavalier (Sebrings seem to be a little bit bigger right?)

I'm sorry! :) I should have said that.

Still on a high for my great rate with no lines. hehehehe :teeth:

Is that Entertainment Book coupon available in all editions or do I have to buy the Orlando edition? Thanks!!

bubbasmom99 - I live in Canada and my Entertainment Book had a national car coupon which could be used in both countries!

It's in the "national" offers section (and was in my Twin Cities edition) so I'm quite sure it is in all editions of the book.

Thanks!! One more question, if you don't mind... the coupon comes up as "Entertainment 2004 coupon", but I thought that Ent. book coupons expired in November of each year, so if we are going in December, won't the coupon be invalid? Does anyone know if they really look at that? The coupon did not come back as invalid when I made the reservation.... I have a friend who has the 2004 book that I can snag the coupon from, so as to avoid having to purchase the 2005 book, if I can help it....

coupons for the cars are valid until dec 31, 2004 even though the book's coupons for most entertainment/dining run out in november

thus, you should be good to go as long as you can snag the coupon from your friend

After reading this thread initially, I signed up at the Emerald Club and following Mary Waring's suggestions for discount codes, etc. got a great rate. Thanks everyone; love the Emerald Aisle concept because I hate to wait in line, lol. Has anyone noticed when you combine the entertainment discount with the priceless vacation discount, it doesn't charge the concession fee. Any other combination (with entertainment card) did; which for 8 days is about 11. Isn't that odd? I am sure when I get there I will get popped for it. I don't know how the priceless vacation discount would eleminate it.

rlduvall, someone asked this same question about the concession fee a while back. The answer was that Priceless has an agreement with some car rental companies where the concession fee is waived. I used this code in May and will again this coming September. I was not charged the concession fee in May at MCO.

Oops. Thanks for the quick response. At least we all catch the little things, right???? Thanks.

Hi,
I'm looking at the coupon right now, lawgs is right, the entertainment coupons expire on December 31, 2004.

Check 'em again, folks. My rate for Friday just went down $2. It might be because my rental is so close, but you never know.;)
