Great places for dinner a round Int' Drive

Bahama Breeze in Las Vegas was very nice so I imagine the Orlando equivalent would be equally good, also Sweet Tomatoes.. Lovely change from the usual fried n meaty fare :) I prefer IHOP to Dennys for breakfast, though since eating at 'Mamas' in San Francisco all the chains pale in comparison now..!

Or Outback Steakhouse for your top up on red meat :teeth:

Claire ;)

Ooh, I love the pork chops at Outback :thumbsup2

The Steak and Pork chops were some of he best I've ever had..well recommended.

I can remember driving past quite a few Golden Corrals so am thinking this maybe worth a look at to, more so for dinner

The Golden Corral has a far greater selection of food than Ponderosa. Always less tourists in also.

Try Jimmy Buffets at Citywalk.

we went to hooters last year and thought the food was good.

the only way to descibe where it is, is go to crossroads and come out turn left and then take the first left and the next lights and its just up there on the left along with dominoes pizza and a few other restaurants

There is a Hooters at Pointe Orlando too - right on I-Drive.

We ate at Johnny Rockets on South Beach and the food was great. Just noticed there is one at Pointe Orlando so we will be trying that one.

We liked Bahama Breeze, Outback Steakhouse, Dennys, Ponderosa and Golden Corral for brekkie. We had a fantastic but pricey meal at Ming Court.

We also had a great meal at Wild Jacks but I've read bad reports about it recently.

i love IHOP, dennys and perkins, for a nice going out meal in the evening we go to the outback as the steak is brilliant.

sweet tomatoes is a vegetarian restaurant but does other stuff too.
its another all you can eat buffet an its great, cost us £25 for 5 of us dinner.
its just past wet n wild

We've been here a few days; been to TGI Friday's (good food, great cocktails), Olive Garden (crowded, poor service but nice food!) and Hard Rock Café last night at City Walk which was the best burger! About to go off to the Mall at Milennia with a view to the Cheesecake Factory!

Kath we had poor service in Olive Garden aswell (we also thought the food was poor, though might have been the dishes we got) Was this the crossroads location?

No, it was the I-Drive location. Guy seemed annoyed that we didn't want wine (it was 5pm!).

A few places we tried;

TGI Fridays on Int Drive - Didn't like this much. A couple of the dishes for our party were cold, and the burger I had was absolutely disgusting, worst I have ever tried. To be fair to them, they did deduct the cold food from our bill.

CiCis pizza, Palm Parkway, LBV - Me and junior loved this place. All you can eat pizza, pasta and salad for something like $4! All you can drink juice cup for $1.50. Cheap, cheerful and some really nice varieties of pizza.

Kitty O'Sheas, Palm Parkway, LBV - A small Irish bar that serves really good food. Very nice atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Tucked away in the same mall as CiCis.

Golden Corral, near to Premium Outlets - only done a breakfast here, but very clean and a wide selection of food. Service was particularly good, especially so considering it was very busy.

Texas De Brazil, Tony Romas, Cici's Pizza and Chilis!

We have been to this oe on Palm Parkway twice in the past year and service both times was great :)

Our favourites in the I-Drive area are Bahama Breeze and Friendlys.
We tried Olive Garden during our 2nd trip and none of us liked our food - and 5 of us had different dishes so we had quite a variety.
We used to love Wild Jacks but when we went back last year thought it was awful. Bad food, bad service (hardly a word of english spoken) and no atmosphere.
We also tried Ci-Ci's pizza once and left within the first 10mins. The food was by far the worst we have had in Florida - regardless of how cheap it was we couldn't bring ourselves to eat it. There was no such thing as a simple pizza and all had some sort of tabasco sauce or cheap 'primula type' cheese on them. Terrible and I would advice everyone to avoid it.

eeeeewwww, that sounds nasty! I've heard some pretty scary reviews about that place....

Just checked the Buca Di Beppo website and they do indeed have an Orlando restaurant, it's in the Florida Mall. I would definitely recommend it :)
(Oops just realised I edited this post instead of making a new reply so it doesn't make much sense now so just to clarify: It's a great Italian place which we preferred over Olive Garden)
