Great October DING fares on SW!!

Come on now - that's just plain evil trying to entice me like that.. LOL

I would be an adult - traveling solo (or perhaps having my sister who lives in Florida could join me) - so I'm not too sure if the MNSSHP would be much fun for us.. Anything else going on in October? Oh shoot - what am I saying? See - you're enticing me!!!

My DING isn't working and I NEEEEEED those October fares!!! Is anyone on AOL/AIM who can talk me through this? I called Southwest and they were NO help!

Have you tried closing the ding icon and then restarting it ?

Hmmm.. No interest in that.. Checked out the MNSSHP and doesn't look like anything I would be interested in without my DGD so....... Maybe I'll go visit my sister and take her to Sea World or maybe I'll cancel the flight when it gets closer and keep the credits to apply to another flight.. The trip to Texas is still on the table while I'm in Florida for the winter, so I could always apply it to that if my friend is able to get vacation time at the same time that I'm able to visit her..

Just amazes me that SW is still able to do this.. Offer fantastic DING fares to all sorts of places - not just Florida.. I've said it before and I'll say it again - for those kind of fares, I'll take a folding chair on the wing!!

Yes, I've tried uninstall/reinstall...adding southwest.com to my trusted sites...changing my security levels to low temporarily...nothing is working! I can't connect. UGH! Help!!!

I get the "connection error" message and the icon in my tray has the red and white ! over it...I tried right-clicking and "connect now" but it just says to check my internet connection!!! UGH!!! I've closed my browser and reopened a few times...NOTHING!!!

Do you have a browser other than AOL? Maybe it would work with IE or Firefox. Sorry, I don't know how to tell you how to reconfigure DING to use one of them.


We are booked offsite at the Country Inn and Suites in a kidsuites. Supposed to be pirate themed. My kids are VERY excited.

Trying to figure out ADRs now, and which night/how many of us will go to MNSSHP.

TinkerbellMama, have you performed any Windows updates recently? Sometimes that seems to mess things up with Ding, and it won't work correctly.

Is this a recent problem? When was the last time you were able to get to SW via the icon? The reason I ask is because I have had occasions when my icon had the red and white over it and later in the day the red and white was gone and it worked fine..

Also - have you downloaded anything else recently - on-line or off?

I love the bands..we saw all the Beach Boy shows last year..and wish I was seeing them again this year. It was a lot of fun. No interest in the wine..but the samples of food all over was also a lot of fun. I liked the 60 bands a lot more than even Mickey LOL!
