Like many of you, I purchased my ap before the Burger King/Coke offer was out. I called Universal and told them my situation and they were like "Too Bad, nothing you can do about it". Well, I e-mailed the customer support tickets folks a week ago and told them the situation. Today I recieved a reply and they told me " You can take your unused annual pass and the Burger King code to guest services and they will process an upgrade". Just remember your ap must not be activated yet.

hi

I haven't bought my pass yet but plan to. Does anyone know when this promo expires?

WOW!!!! I just got my 5 AP's in the mail that I had ordered. Do you think they would let me do what you are doing, too? Did they take down your name or anything? Also, how much did you pay for your AP's? Mine were the $99 special price. Thanks for sharing that!!

The 2 years for the price of one year is $169 plus tax. You would have to pay the difference in price from your $99 passes which would be around $70 plus tax for each pass.

Did you get the buy 4 passes get 5th free Mastercard special? If so, I'm not sure how they would do that. If you did do the 5 for the price of 4, then essentially you paid around $80 per pass ($400 divided by 5 tickets) so you would probably have to pay another $89 per annual pass to upgrade to 2 years which wouldn't save you any money.

I think those are the ones with no blackout dates ($169.00). Since they were so much more $$ we went with the other ones, with the blackout dates. What a bummer. I really don't want to dish out $350.00 more dollars to get another year free. I guess I'd still be saving $150.00, technically, but I really need to save that money for other things. Darn. Thanks anyway.:wave2:

PS: No, I did not know anything about any buy 4 get 1 free deal. We spent $540.00 incl. tx. for our 5 tickets.

Anyone know what the "purchase by 5/31/2004 and redeem by 6/30/2004" written in the voucher fine print actually means? I was planning to buy pref. ann. aps for 4 of us and thought this would be wonderful "just in case" we decided to go back quickly. But our vacation isn't until mid-July. I'm thinking this deal is no good for us?

Eclpz314,
The purchase by date is the date the passes must be purchased by. The redeem by date of 6/30/04 is the date they must be redeemed but it's a little deceiving. The passes will automatically become activated/redeemed on 6/30/04 and expire on 6/30/06 even if the first time you use them is after the 6/30/04 date, e.g., mid-July or any other time after 6/30/04. This is discussed at length in the AP 2 years for the price of 1 thread.

Thanks Tinaluis. I will go ahead and buy the 2 yr. since we'll only lose 2 weeks off of it. I just didn't want to get down to US and have them tell me the passes were no good.
