I just rang a helpline to find out if the castle was going to be covered in any way while they did the decorations ready for the 15th celebrations.

Great news they wont be covering it at all!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

The lady I spoke to rang headquaters in Paris to find out for definate and then rang me back.
They plan to begin putting the decorations up on the castle on the 20th March but they wont be covering it or boarding any parts up at all while they do it. They will have workmen in during the night when the park is closed to put everything up (lights, decorations etc). Nothing will be switched on until the 15th celebrations begin but those who are staying after the 20th March will see things gradually added each morning when they go back.

But nothing will block views of the castle. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Thank you so much! I was getting really worried about this, now I don't need to :cheer2:

sounds exciting, we will be there from the 19th.

And the real 'beginning' of the 15th anniversary is April 1? I am intrigued because we'd planned to be there at the end of March, and now I'm wondering if I shouldn't hang on a couple more days to see the launch of the celebration (although, that will be after the Classic Kids Free package ends). So much to try to decide!

Thank you for the info, though! Adding bit by bit onto the castle is great news, rather than covering it completely!!
