Ehh, it's Florida - every building is full of mold!

I can't imagine there wouldn't be a way to remediate the mold damage short of tearing down the building.

But, it may be why they are going for different effects, etc. this second time around.

Unfortunately I assume this won’t come back as the cake bake shop albeit third party will have a tea room which is a shame as it was one of my favorite experiences

I assume the bones of the building are solid enough and they could just completely demolish the interior of the theater hence why it will open in the fall plus who knows if people have been already doing work that the public didn’t know of as it is interior

I like having something else to do in the AC.

That was my thought as well! I think an indoor option would be a welcome addition to the outdoor theaters used for Indy and Beauty & the Beast.

I know during the media event for Tiana’s opening I think they saw some preview concepts that was later released officially

I’d say we maybe get a date by d23 at the latest especially considering there isn’t that much in the pipeline

I think because you posted in December 2023 that the attraction is reopening in the Fall of 2024.

We finally know what will be going into the Little Mermaid theater in Animator's Courtyard. Disney Parks Blog just made this big announcement!

Disney is reimagining Voyage of the Little Mermaid and opening an updated show titled, 'The Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure'!

Who is excited?

Online still says opening Fall 2024, not sure if that will happen or not. We've seen many other deadlines missed.

Thanks. I posted the announcement in Dec 2023 because that was when Disney officially announced the show would be returning.

The original show closed in early 2020 and the theatre has been dark since then.

For me, the highlight of the old show was the Ursula AA (if that qualifies as an AA?) I hope they didn't ditch that, or maybe they'll replace it with an even better one?
