DH and I ate at Marrakesh this past April (I've just been slow to write up my reviews!). Anyway it was our first time eating here and it was great
Definitely my fave meal of the trip.
DH and I shared the Goat Cheese with Crispy bread App. This was yummy and the crispy bread had a nice texture. I also drank the mint iced tea and DH had a beer.
For my main course I had the Beef Couscous. This was delicious. It was a very simple plate of perfectly cooked and seasoned couscous with what I would equate to pot roast. It was braised chunks of beef and root veggies. They also gave some spicy dipping sauce on the side.
DH had the lamb couscous. It was similar to my dish only with lamb. I'm not a lamb person so I didn't try it but he liked it.
The atmosphere of this restaurant is so pretty and relaxing. The belly dancing was entertaining and it only went on for a bit, then the restaurant quieted down again.
This will certainly be on my list of go to places to eat going forward!
