Hello,
Arriving later this week. Looking for spots to rest out of the heat while my teenage daughters explore the parks. Snacks/drinks or quiet little corners somewhere within the parks. Does anyone have a favorite cooling off place? Thanks

If you're looking for attractions to cool off in, lots of parks have great shows that don't garner huge waits. Carousel of Progress, the Tiki Room, and the Hall of Presidents are great for cooling off in Magic Kingdom, for example. Other spots in the MK that offer AC and food include Columbia Harbour House, which has tons of seating and pretty good food. You also can't go wrong with the Land pavilion over in Epcot, which has lots of seating and plenty of AC. If you like Coke products (and exotic flavors), check out Club Cool in Future World. It offers lots of AC and you can sample Coke flavors from around the world. Cheers!

I completely forgot about the Land ! That’s a great area to rest in thank you! I have never been in Columbia House in MK and will be sure to check it out.

At Epcot, I've also occasionally taken a rest in the Seas pavilion--there's not as much seating as in the Land, but there's a sort of bench/window seat along many of the aquarium walls and I once spent about forty minutes sitting and watching the dolphins while recovering from the heat.

I hope someone chimes in with thoughts on DHS...it used to be I'd recommend Writer's Corner, but it's been replaced with a brewpub type of quick service place that looks less likely to have available indoor seating. There's always the ABC Commissary; it's nothing exciting but it's indoors and there are chairs and tables.

Animal Kingdom is tough, too, since so much of that park is outdoors in general. I've been eying Nomad Lounge (attached to Tiffins); it looks like a nice spot to sit with a drink or appetizer.

I saw the Nomad Lounge and believe that will be a great spot.
As far as HS I cannot think of anywhere besides a quick service restaurant.
Also, I love the idea of hanging at The Seas . Thank you

Not just a drop in, but the frozen show is a great spot to rest.

The Pixar short films in Epcot is a nice sit down attraction. If you time it right you can often walk right on. Seating is theater style and there is air conditioning. The area right outside of this attraction is nice just to sit and relax. There are fountains and the building provides some shade.

In World Showcase, the Japan pavilion has some shaded seating by Katsura Grill. I think this area is one of the prettiest in Epcot. Grab a shave ice from the Kaki Gori stand and you are all set. The American pavilion also has lots of outdoor seating outside of Liberty Inn that is sort of shaded.

In AK, there is an area off to the left of Dinosaur (when looking directly from the front of the attraction) that is covered and shaded. It isn't really near any food kiosks or quick service places so grab a drink or bite before you head there. I also appreciate taking the train in AK (and MK when it was running) to just take a load off and cool down.

MK- ride Carousel of Progress and then procede to the People Mover for even more relaxation with minimal waiting in line. People Mover moves fast enough to catch a breeze most days.

Studios- I've yet to find any out of the way spot for just resting. ABC Commissary is nice for grabbing a bite in the A/C though.

Thank you! I will check out the Japan pavilion! Also I have never watched the Pixar Shorts. Great suggestions

I love to get a peach iced tea from the tea cart in AK (near Everest) and sit in the shade to enjoy it.

Used to love to sit and have a Dole float in Adventureland but it seems they’ve expanded the smoking section into my face area :(

In Epcot, I like looking at the display in France and watching the movie there. The patisserie is a great place for a snack.

I love Brown Derby, so I’d duck in there for a drink and an app or dessert!! The Starbucks is also cute but rarely quiet.

At DHS, hubby and I like to cool off in "One Man's Dream"- love looking at all the memorabilia. Not much seating unless you watch the Walt movie (or movie preview), whichever is playing in the little theater. We also like the Star Wars launch bay at DHS for air conditioned browsing.
My favorite cool spot at DHS-- the chicken waiting area for ToT. Walk in through the gift shop exit all the way to the back, into the exit area for ToT. There's some nice air-conditioned seating to wait for your party.
