For you golf fans out there I have a site that you can get a great round of golf in the Orlando/Disney area for a steal! Click on www.ezlinks.com and for up to 12 days in advance you can get good tee times for less that half the price. Now this doesn't include Disney itself but some top-notch courses in the immediate area.
They are:
Hawk's Landing at the Marrriott Orlando World Center
The Ritz Carlton Golf Club at the new Ritz Carlton Resort
Grand Pines in one of the Marriott time share complexes
St Cloud GC
These four appear on the "tee time specials" link on the home page. Just select the date and area you want and the available courses will come up. There are other courses that come up for Florida, but some are way way too far away. They just group the whole state together for the specials.
Now I point this out because the fees at the Ritz Carlton for example are $155 and through the website you can get them for $61.99! That's less than half price! And that includes your cart! The only extra is that at the Ritz, they require you to have a forecaddie in your group, which I have never had, and you are asked to tip him/her after the round based on their service. Usually $15-20 but I think it is worth it still since you would be tipping the same for a round that would cost $155. Still is a good deal. I have played Grande Pines and while I wasn't impressed with the course itself, the service was great, the facilites were first rate and they have a GPS system installed as well. The others I can't help with but they all seem great for the discounted price.
Now I admit I have another reason for posting this. No I do not have a stake in ezlinks, I just can't get a single tee time yet for next week! I am looking for anything between 5/12 and 5/17 at the Ritz and while is a morning tee time every day, I can't book a single time until someone else books at least a two or threesome first. Then and only then will the site show a single for the course. So if any of you out there have a two or threesome and can't decide on where to play, click on the website and see what you think. If you click on the info button next to the course, it will take you to the course's website so you can see for yourself what they have to offer, but your time must be made through ezlinks to get the discount. I read about this in Golf Digest in an article and not an ad so I would believe that they are legit.
Hope you find a good time next week! Pleeeeeease! LOL!
