Great food and service!

We just got home last night from our first trip to Disney. I am so glad we purchased the dining plan. OMG..... the food! We had sooo much to eat I am surprised our clothes still fit. Our favorite was The Coral Reef... we had the best service there. The food was awesome. We also ate at Cap n Jack's, Ohana's, Crystal Palace & Garden Grill. The buffet at Ohana's... so much food..they kept bringing more and more!! We were very pleased with all of it and I would recommend all of these places. Plus our counter services were good too.... we never had a bad meal or service!

Glad you had a good trip! We're planning on returning to Coral Reef & Crystal Palace in April. We love those too!

We (DH and I) had dinner at the Coral Reef Oct. 26th, 2007 (this past Friday). Our ADR was at 8:40pm and that is the time we ate. They gave us a table for 2 right at the tank, where we could touch the glass (I had to slap my DH hands for doing this LOL) He had the 12oz. steak. I had the king crab and we shared our meals to have surf and turf. It was our best meal. Glad we had the dinning plan, our meal was $128.00. Only one problem I had and that was it was so cold in there. ( I do get cold often) It was a cool, wet night outside and inside was so cold I tried to use the napkin to cover up my legs. We were brought hot towels at the end of our meal which was great for a little while. All in all, it was great.

I must agree with you - we never had bad service anywhere we ate. Even at the places reported as being bad. And at the CS places that were packed when we went, they moved us through fast! I was very impressed, too.

Thanks for your comments - we never had bad service at WDW either despite ouur worries about service during free dining.

My husband and I both had the lobster tail.. it was awesome.. it came with potatoes and green beans (I think).. I think they had New York Strip also but I can't remember what all was on the menu.. everything sounded good though! I had the butterscotch creme brule (I know I spelled it wrong!) and my hubby had some kind of chocolate lava cake. My daughter had mac and cheese. Cap n Jacks and Coral Reef were our favorites.

We have never had bad service either. Love doing the DP even with the upcoming changes. Glad you enjoyed CR....we love the resturant!

I agree, we loved Coral Reef, but DD5 was very cold. Service was the best during a 14 nihgt holiday. Crystal palace was also fab! much more relaxed.
