Great flight special, i love when things all come together

We had a holiday booked from Aug 25, to AUg 31, 4 days at the Boardwalk and 2 nights at Universals new royal pacific hotel. Got the entertainment rate of $99, a night for the RP. Been checking for flights, yesterday southwest, flights, extended their selling period to Sept 13, woohoo. Went and check their website, already for our return flight on the saturday, the special pricing was sold out, hard to believe but they book fast. So, called universal, added another night at the same $99 price, then booked our tickets on Southwest. They have an amazing special, so was able to get a direct flight from buffalo to orlando, for 4 people, total cost $448Us, which comes to about $710 CDN. We had set aside $1200 for our flights, so, the money we save from our flights, pays for the 3 nights at universal, so we are way ahead. I love when things work out for a change, hahah. SO, if anyones going to WDW before sept 13, go check the southwest site, seats are going fast.

Sounds like you found yourself a great deal!

I only hope that when we go next March 22 Southwest has some good deals on. Does anyone know if Southwest is known to have "specials" like this frequently?

Excellent maryanne, we flew Southwest last year and really enjoyed it. I was hoping for a special this year but nothing came out until about 2 weeks ago. Figures.
