Great first trip to BVC

Just returned home a few hours ago and I am already "chomping at the bit" for my return next year. I bought into the DVC last year after a trip to Disney and chose the bcv as our home. Over the past year I read this site regularly for every review I could about our new "home". After such a wonderful experience I feel obligated to provide some feedback.

We arrived at the site at 11:30 am, (c/i is at 4:00) and we were able to get right into a room. Although it was not the 5th floor room that we requested it was a clean room with a huge balcony since it was situated on a corner (room 260, studio). Midway through our trip we moved to a 1 bedroom, once again it was a smooth c/i. This room was also very clean and we were very pleased with the accommodations. Both rooms had views of the Quiet Pool.

Everything about our stay was fantastic. Transportation was always on time, the staff was polite and SAB is a great place to just hang out with the kids. I can see how this can get addicting. On one boat trip back from MGM, my wife and I were already thinking about the ideal number of points to have and how we should consider adding onto what we currently own.

Something nice that I had not seen posted on the site was the Member Day that they have. This is on Tuesdays at 5:30 at BCV and BWV and it was alot of fun as they had contests and prizes, plus I got to meet other DVC members.

I can't wait to book our next reservations!

Great to hear that you had a wonderful stay at BCV. That is our home resort too and we love it!

How long were you at the member's day activities at BW and BC? We had planned to be there at the start about 5:30 p.m. and then go out to eat. We have PS at Boma's for 8 p.m. Is that enough time or should we make our PS for later?

RweTHEREyet - The studio was regular size, however the balcony/patio area was large

donmil723 - Our party wrapped up at about 8:00, however it would have gone longer if it were not for thunder/lightening that closed the pool. At about 7:30 they were starting to put up a volleyball net for the pool, so I imagine it would have gone on for a little longer.

Also, for those of you interested in Pin collecting the giveaway they had at the Member night was one of those necklaces (name starts with an "L", but cannot remember what it is actually called) that you put your pins on. They also started you out with one pin.

Glad you had a great trip home to the BCVs. I LOVE my "home" resort.


We are anxiously counting down our visit to Vero and OKW here. My sons and a friend are going to stay at the BCVs on our points while we are at OKW in a 2 bedroom with friends.
