Great experience at Disney Store!

Last Saturday evening I went to the Disney Store at our local mall to get some "supplies" for our trip this weekend. I usually show up there before each of my trips and buy several things, but I hadn't been in for three or four months.
I got my load of stuff, easily over $100, and then realized I forgot my DVC card. I asked if they would hold the merchandise for me until the next day, when I could return with the card. The manager said, "I can't hold it for you because it's sale merchandise, but I remember you coming in before with your card so I'll go ahead and give you the discount." I went on to have a discussion with the clerk about the DVC resorts.
Love that Disney Magic!! Some Disney store cast members know all about DVC AND our discount!

THere used to be a DS CM in our area who had 2000 DVC points!

There are 3 CM's in our store that also own DVC.

We love going to our Disney Stores. The CMs there are great folks. Its too bad that they are closing many of them. I particularly miss the one in Charlotte airport.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the division. The Disney Store Japan was bought by the Oriental Land Company in 2002. OLC wholly owns the Tokyo Disney Resort.

Hey pwoodham-I see your location is Texas--which Disney Store were you at? We live in the DFW area and I usually go to the store at Northeast Mall...
