Great Everest "Big Drop" photo

Dznefreak your pictures are great! What type of camera do you use? Also, I was looking through your DAK pictures and I had a question...the rock sculpture prior to the EE pictures...where is that...I have never seen it and want to find it during our March trip! Excellent Pictures & your collages are super! :earsgirl:

WOW! What fantastic photos!! I only WISH mine could turn out so great. I think Dan Murphy has some SERIOUS competition on these boards!! :teeth:

Ok so i am terrified of "drops" but i can handle Space Moutain. Not so much splash mountain. Many people have said this drop is not any worse then the drops in space mt. Does anybody else who doesnt like like drops know if this is true? Or has anybody else whos drop-o-phobic been able to do this. I know you people who can handle it will say its nothing. Im looking for responces from people who dont like drops but rode this. lol :rotfl2:

Thanks for sharing.

I was wondering about that ride. I probably won't be riding it. I don't like drops. So, thanks so much for sharing. I now know in advance and can plan, plan, plan.

Great Pictures.

Just looking at the pics makes me want to ride it. I can't wait. Hope theres a soft opening early early February.??

Ok guys, "Ecurto" asked the exact question that I have. If any of you have info on the drop I would love to know. I can take the drops in "Revenge of the Mummy" ride because they are more like fast hills. So anyone with info, please send to me and Ecurto! We wanna ride too!

Yea Glenda! Normally this board isnt quite. I wonder why were getting no love. :rotfl:

Great pic! What happened when you contacted them? I'd be really torqued if they did that to me. Fortunately, my pics are not that good!
They apologozed for using work that was not that individuals and gave me his name and email so I could contact him.

Camera:
KODAK CX7430, nothing fancy but I like the results. All the EXIF info is great but I just set the camera to "Auto" for that shot and also did "Rapid Fire" shooting as the car was coming down the hill.

Software I Use:
Adobe Elements 2.0 for Panoramas
Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro X for cropping, rotating, brightness, etc.
Arcsoft Photostudio for collages

the rock sculpture prior to the EE pictures...where is that...I have never seen it and want to find it during our March trip!
Camp MinnieMickey just as you cross the bridge it is on the river bank on the left. It is a dragon. That was supposed to represent Beastly Kingdom.

I rode EE last night, three times. :) I can say that this ride is definitely faster, but smoother than Space Mountain and the drop is steeper and faster. I won't provide any spoilers but I can say that there are some unexpected and surprising elements to the ride.

Oh man....love the picture of the drop, but I'm not so sure I'm going to be able to take it!!! It has taken me since '99 to get comfy with the drop at Splash!!! Space isn't so bad because I can't really see...I never sit in that front seat anymore since I found that I could see way too much!!! Maybe I'll just have to board the ride, shut my eyes and scream the whole time!!! It worked at the other Mts until I got used to them!!!

I would like to read a review WITH spoilers - any good links? I'm wondering what the height restriction is and I'd like a thorough review so I can figure out whether or not my son would be terrified of this ride or not! He can do BTMRR and loves it but hasn't been eager to do SM or RnRC - mostly cause they are in the dark.

Any tips?

I have seen some reviews with spoilers over at *************.

As a matter of fact, I think I have seen that same photo over there. Was that you, Dznefreak, or were they "borrowing" also? Hopefully it was you, I would hate to hear of another uncredited use of your photo.

Sorry - I didn't know the filters didn't allow other websites. I thought I had seen Dan Murphy reference that site before.
