Great Disney Visa Offer for those in the MD area

I received a mailing over the weekend for priority access to the best seats -before they become available to the general public- to see The Lion King musical at the Hippodrome theater next year. I certainly couldn't afford the very best seats, lol, but I did get 4 upper balcony seats for my family. There is a special password you need to access the seats.
Shhh...it's a Christmas present!

I bought tickets through that offer and Ticketmaster is telling me that the prices were misprinted and they can't honor the prices. Anyone else having this problem???
Bethmar- you have to have a Disney Visa and the code is NALA.

CheapMom-I bought mine on the Ticketmaster website, and actually the prices I brought up were even lower than what was on the mailing! You do have options for different levels of pricing for each seting section on the dropdown menu. But the original date I wanted (Father's Day) didn't have the tickets I wanted. When I changed dates, I got upper balcony seats for $22.50 each, of course the fees and parking drives up the price a bit, but still a bargain for this show. I just went to see Phantom of the Opera there, it's a beautiful theater and small so there's probably not a bad seat in the house.

Bethmar- You do have to have a DisneyVisa, if you don't and want to apply now, the offer is going on through sometime (can't remember the exact date) in Nov. just before they go on sale to the public.

I got front balcony tickets and according to the ad they should have been 41.50 plus fees. They say it was a misprint and they can't offer those seats at that price. They are $66.00- They are over $80 with all the fees. I really feel that they should honor the price they sent me but they say they can't.
It is the same way online.
I purchased the tickets at the higher price because I didn't want to lose the good seats and the ticketmaster rep said- "I don't know anything about that offer but when we check it out and find that it is a real offer we will refund the difference." Now they are saying it wasn't a real offer, it was a misprint.

That's not right! There should be someone you can contact about honoring these prices! Have you tried looking at different dates? I was just looking for the $26 seats and like I said, I was pleasantly surprised to find some $22.50 seats instead. I hope you get some satisfaction...let us know what you find out.

Thanks Laurabelle- I am not sure what I'm going to do- I think I will start a new thread and see if anybody else has had this problem. The Disney Rewards rep said they had lots of complaints about it.
I am considering either just keeping my seats and paying $$$. or moving to the rear balcony- the price is right back there.

I have seen the show (in NY) and it is really wonderful. I am sure it will be great whatever we decide.

I also called, the day the seats were released, and was told that front balcony seats would be charged at Orchestra prices. None of the prices on the flyer are valid.

The actual ticket prices are:
ORCHESTRA SEATING
US $62.50 - US $72.50

BALCONY
US $72.50

UPPER BALCONY
US $27.50 - US $42.50

Some showings are $1-3 dollars more of less expensive.

Upper balcony at the hippodrome means the LAST TWO rows!!! I saw a show in those seats, and it was very difficult for an adult to see- definitely not a place you would want to sit with kids.

Reular balcony with tax and fees is almost $90 a seat. I was really dissapointed about this- we will NOT be going.
