Last fall a scrapbooking/sticker store in my area closed. A recent acquaintance knows the ladies who owned it and was selling the stickers in her garage and on e-bay. I went to see what they had (thousands of stickers, the garage was full of racks). DD and I bought about $50 wirth of stickers for $6. WOW was I amazed. They said they were closing at 4:00 that day and then they were donating them to get them out of the garage.
Well.... being a Girl Scout leader I asked if they would donate some to our Mother/daughter SB day. She said yes. I went back Tuesday with 3 of my girls and we grabbed what we could in an hour. I counted the stickers yesterday for tax purposes and we got 822 stickers for FREE. Plus some paper and die cuts. I do not even want to think what the retail cost is. I wish I had more advanced notice and I could have gotten some things for other troops as well or other non profit groups.
