I needed to buy 5 iPad mini cases and planned to buy the Griffin Survivor type at Target with the 20% coupon. They are regularly $59.99, so I was constantly looking for a better deal online. I found a price @ $34.99 on Amazon, which was even better than the 20% deal at Target. I knew that Target would price match Amazon so I went to the store planning to do that. When I got to the store, I pulled up the Amazon site on my phone in preparation for the price match and noticed that the price on the black cases had dropped to $28!! I quickly grabbed all 3 black ones they had, two other colors, and rushed to the customer service desk. I was panicking because there were only 3 left in stock online and their policy says they will only match in stock items. Luckily, it all worked out and I was able to price match the 3 black ones at $28, a red/blue one for $39.95, and the green/black one for $23.93!! I didn't try to use the 20% coupon on top of that because their policy says coupons can't be used if price match is less. However, I did have a $5 off $50 purchase I used, and of course my Red Card discount for a grand total of $143.88 for all 5 cases! Total savings off regular price: $237.65.
So watch the online sites like Amazon for random price drops! Happy Bargain Hunting!!
Edited to add: Amazon has the black ones for $28.40 right now (12:21 eastern time)!
