DVC dues statement! The unfortunate part is that my DH got it and it was for some odd reason about $1000 more then he thought :charac2: . So just a little warning if your spouse doesn't know exactly how much it is GET THE MAIL FIRST! Now I'm off to find out how much a 2-bedroom is for a cash ressie so that I can show him that DVC is a deal!
O'well Happy Holidays everyone! and rember to get the mail first!

Yikes! Oh well, just another bill to deal with in January! With a credit card payment, that actually pushes the payment into February, maniana or however it's spelled!

Bobbi :flower:

Merry Christmas to us all! Picked up my mail today and there it was!! :D

Paying the dues bill this time of year makes DVC seem "not quite so exciting." Luckily when I get down there in January, I forget about the cost and enjoy my stay.

Guess I didn't get mine because I pay monthly, automatically deducted from my checking account..

Good thing we live in Hawaii!.... mail is always a bit slower to reach us....though I usually like receiving mail from DVC :D

Yep, ours is up $9.17 per month! :charac2:

It goes well with our neighborhood association fee that is also due the end of this month.

Even if you pay monthly, you'll get a statement. Mine came today.
Yes, we got our's Christmas Eve, and it does bring the total to one's attention. The dues on our 495 points look pretty imposing when we rimind ourselves of the total; tho they're net-to-nothing compared to rack rates (waay scarier :scared: ).
But, as SenecaBeach correctly points out, doing the monthly direct deduct is a lot less shocking to the financial system. Plus, Disney is not charging us any interest even tho we are able to spread out these payments. Now, as someone who pays a home mortgage every month, I know that very few creditors will spread out payments and not charge interest, so I am especially appreciative; far better to apply cash to interest bearing debt than non-interest bearing debt.
