I have a reservation for five nights in a Grand Villa at OKW in January. I am second guessing this decision because I can get six nights in a two bedroom and save 16 points (180 GV 5 nights, 164 2BR 6 nights) I have stayed in both before. We will have a total of four adults and two little kids. I don't have any more points!

What would you choose? popcorn::

2BR is large enough so why not save the points and take the extra day! If you can do that it would seem to me to be a no brainer...

I would go with the 2 BR. We did a GV at Christmas one year and ended up with just 5 people in it due to some family members not being able to make the trip. It was a great trip and the space was wonderful but the points we could have saved would have added extra days or even a whole different trip in a studio. With the makeup of your group I would definitely add the extra day and save a few points. If you had any more adults than that I would say stay with the GV.

Thanks for your opinions. Interesting that they all went one way! I will change the reservation. I also like the idea that there will be no stairs for little Jameson to fall on. :cool1: :thumbsup2

I'd have to agree with the previous posts. If you have done it before, I would do the 2 bedroom. I think your group would be confortable. If staying in a GV was something you were just dying to do, then go for the GV.

Definitly take the longer stay in the smaller room if you can fit (which it seems you can)...

We generally travel w/ 6 and always get a 2 bedroom at OKW. Every few years or so for the family reunion we do get the GV because we all want to be together and there are 8 adults and 3 kids. I think if points are a consideration then a 2 bedroom would suit the 6 of you just fine.

I really expected you all to say, take the GV even if only for five days. Your agreement with what I was thinking of doing made my decision to go with the six days in the 2BR a lot easier. I just called MS as well as the airline (Midwest) and got everything set. Thanks a lot. I think this is a example of how these boards are helpful. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Good for you! I think the little one can still get lost in an OKW 2 bedroom, they are very spacious and nice, aren't they? I like your thinking about not having steps in the villa, too.

I have read that they are bigger than most so you should have plenty of room for the little one to roam. Have a great trip!!

Another vote for the 2br ONLY because you have stayed in the GV before. If you hadn't, I would have voted for the experience of staying in a GV.

We've got 4 adults and 2 kids staying in a 2 bedroom at SSR in August:cool1: It's plenty of room! And the kids will have a ton of fun 'camping' out together in the living at night!
