Just booked our car rental for our trip March 31-April 13 for $457.75 US or $565.96. I know this doesn't sound amazing but ....it is for a midsize SUV! They usually run about $900-1300 Cdn for 2 weeks. We found this deal through Expedia and also found the same on on Hotwire - both through Enterprise.

did you check out dollar.com? I found them to be the cheapest! especially when you can find a coupon or corporate code to add!

actually that is a fairly good price.

This is what I got for now. Hopefully can get something better in the next couple of weeks. It has to be at the airport, hate the shuttle thing.

We got the exact same price for a 8 passenger minivan with Alamo for 10 days starting tomorrow. Awesome deal! Used the costco code and coupon.

I tried the Costco code and the Alamo $10 deal but nothing came close to the deal we got. I think it is because of the time we are going which is Mar 31-April 13 ... spring break and Easter.

Some of these prices you guys got are really good - are they for the same time?

I tried this one and I get the price of $515.81 US - but that is for 2 full weeks so when I convert it to Cdn it is about $628. But still not a bad price at all.

Gotta love the DIS!!! Okay I officially cancelled my original reservation and booked the mid sized SUV through Alamo using the Costco code 675899 and got the same vehicle as I booked before through Enterprise, for $426.94 US or $520 Cdn. Another $45 savings

Thanks fellow Canadian Dissers

Glad it helped. I really like the Alamo pick up. I usually pre pay a couple of days ahead and skip the lines. It works great, just walk up to the row for the car type( full size SUV) get in and drive to the exit then show your receipt/creditcard and driver's licence and away you go:cool1:

I find it hard to believe that you just have to know to enter the code '430710 in the 'I.D./Corp I.D.' and the price of a mid-size SUV rental goes from $300 to $200 ($255 including fees for one week from the Raleigh-Durham airport for march break) and you get the additional driver for free! I am worried that it won't work - do they really not ask for anything else, you just reserve it at that price?

I know it is hard to believe but I have used various codes over the years and it works the very best. I mean we probably all shopped at Walmart at least 1 time.
