Got Budget via Priceline and paid a little more than I would like, but it's almost impossible to get a decent rate for a weekend rental in the peak season. This is the second time we're gotten them via Priceline. I had booked an economy car, which was a stripped down Cavalier last time. This time, there were quite a few people in line, but it moved fast because they were well staffed even though it was late. I think it took maybe 10 or 15 minutes. Then, the guy behind the counter asked if we would like an Escape! He said that one had literally just come in so if he could do it in the computer, we could have it. I was very happy because I drive an Aztek at home and like to have a little more car around me. When we got to the garage and my husband checked it for dings, he noticed that the hood was still warm. I think it did indeed literally just get returned...there was sand on the carpet and some soda drops in the cup holder, so I don't think they even cleaned it out yet. That was fine with me...it was an awesome free upgrade. I am really starting to like Budget
