Great book - anyone read?

'Inside the MK - Seven Keys to Disney's success'. I just got back from Disney and of course had a wonderful time. While at Virgin in Downtown Disney I bought this book, which gives some insight into how Disney create the magic.

Its actual aims are to help individuals improve their businesses and explain why Disney has been such a successful company.

Anyone read it? If not, go and have a look.

DH was given a book on WDW (Inside Disney) as a gift and we both read it. There were a few interesting things in it but what I can't seem to get out of my mind is that the author (eve something) said that many people get "VERY intimate" on some of the Dark disney rides (like POTC) and other odd places at WDW. Kind of grossed me out a bit I'd hate for my kids to see something innappropriate going on in the boat ahead of (or behind) us.

I can confirm that this is a reality...as a former CM I have seen it (and of course broken it up....totally unappropriate). What people don't realize, is that on many of those dark rides...we CMs can see you.....POTC and HM are amongst the most used for that purpose.

Its sad really....

There are a couple of really good books by david Koening (sp?) about Disneyland...I have two of them Mouse Tales and More Mouse Tales...some interesting stories..if you dont mind having some of the magic stripped to the bone.

I had to read the book when I worked at a large relocation company. I found it very entertaining. I try to apply a lot of it to my business!

It was $20 plus tax, although if you go to amazon you might be able to get it cheaper. It is not the longest book in the world, but I really found it fascinating even though I'm not in business and probably never will be!
