I read about one book a day! (Soon I won't be able to--back to work!)

This book was fantastic. Its a heartwrenching story about parents, children, choices, and ethics.

Its intense, gutwrenching, and really makes you think. This is a book that at the end-- I stated "Oh NO!".

Its fantastic. I highly recommend it!

what if your lying and the book really stinks

I read this a few months back when it was released. It was fantastic. :) I totally agree that it is a great read! It is a long book, but don't get intimidated by the number of pages. At the end you will be wishing there were about 100 more! :)

I also liked "Plain Truth". It was so enlightening about the Amish. My copy of that book is still circulating with my family and friends. They all have loved it.

I have also read and enjoyed "Keeping Faith" and "The Pact". Both were equally good. "Keeping Faith" would be a great book club book, if the group was open to discussing religion. "The Pact" was made into Lifetime movie. I did not see the movie, but the book was really engaging. I couldn't put it down.

The only Jodi Picoult book I haven't been able to 'get into' is "Mercy". It is a long read. All of her books are on the long side, but "Mercy" seemed to drag for me. :(

Not Jodi Picoult, but, if you haven't read "Talk Before Sleep" by Elizabeth Berg, it is GREAT! I love to read, too. I could read nonstop day in and out, if real life stayed away. ;)

It wasn't long for me. I read it in one sitting!

i loved plain truth! i think i read that one probably three-four years ago.. not sure exactly and i loved it! i might have to look into this one!

I have read The Pact, Plain Truth, Perfect Match, and Mercy, and am currently reading Picture Perfect. I love Jodi Picoult as an author, she is my favorite!

I always circulate her books around everybody I can, they are enjoyed by everybody, it seems. I can't wait to read My Sister's Keeper, but am waiting for it to come to softcover since I have all her others in softcover already.

I wasn't able to get into Keeping Faith, so I set it down for awhile. I have Songs of hte Humpback Whale, Second Glance, and Salem Falls currently on deck...

I wish I had more hours in my days!

I have the book club book on order at the library. I would go broke if I bought all the books I read.

As soon as the book club book comes from the library, I will catch up!

Thanks for the reviews!!

I'm going to Myrtle Beach on Saturday and was going to the library to find some good "beach-reading" books.

I think I'll look this author up!!

I have to agree that this is a great book. It was a little difficult for me... I had just finished reading The Notebook and the styles are very different. The book is heart wrenching and full of little twists that keep it going. All in all, I really liked it.

I just wish I hadn't read The Notebook before and The Wedding after... both by the same author (and his writing is amazing too).

My Sister's Keeper was the first Jody Picoult book I have read, but I will be looking for more! I read it in a couple of evenings, and passed it on to others who enjoy this type of story.
