Great airfares from Chicago

Just book my New Years flight Dec 28 - Jan 3 on ATA for $170 roundtrip, non stop. This is much cheaper than they have been and much lower than the competition.

i'm form chicago and that is a great price, except i will be driving down in 6 days, and what was suppose to be a trip with my sister and the kids only trip turn into dh & df are flying down to meet us, and they are flying ata, and at last minute they got $205.00. at least i can make them buy us dinner at chef mickeys a few times !

i noticed that spirit air is also quite reasonable. i flew them recently. also midwest express out of milwaukee sometimes has comparable fares with the benefit of large leather seats

We paid $151 per person on Spirit Airlines out of O'Hare when we paid for our tickets in May...then last week checked on availability ( on their website) because we were considering adding another person to our trip and found out the rate was $140!! I called Spirit Airlines about a differnet matter and asked about the rates and was told the rates on the toll-free number was $111 !!! This was last Monday so I am not sure about the fares today. It is worth a try!!!

Were these fares including all taxes and other fees, or was this the base fare?

I just picked up ATA for $170 round trip last week.

That was everything, including fees, taxes, etc. I checked them yesterday and it was around $144.
