Great... a woman passes out on Mission:Space

She probably only fainted cos she was like scared or something.
I get that tingley feeling EVERYTIME i get off a ride like that.

I hate it when stuff like this happens. It ruins Disney's reputation, and they always blame Disney. It is SOLELY THEIR FAULT. I won't rant about this though. Anyway. read the polls' results.

All I got to say is WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
WHY????????????????????????????
WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope they don't close down MS. Last i heard, if anything like this happens again, they might think about closing it down! :furious: :sad1:

To be honest, Mission Space deserves the rep it's getting. It's a very intense ride and I'm surprised Disney hasn't toned it down. I mean, sure, there's the ride without spinning but where's the fun in that?

I guess thats true, sad, but true

i agree.
they say the ride is MORE than EQUAL to what a real astronaut goes through! and astronauts train for months, take health tests, work out, eat healthy. honestly, the world isn't as healthy as we would like to be.

:sad2: Prayers and Pixie Dust pixiedust:: to the woman's family and Disney

Disney shouldn't be blamed. After this, they're probably going to make it less intense (again!) or just shut it down. I liked this ride though, but it is ruining Disney's reputation.

I agree with the above post.

different POV i don't believe in-
Disney charges a lot of money & people believe it's a once in a lifetime oppurtunity & they feel this unquenchable need to go on every ride at Disney. or at least the headliners.

I don't believe in that, but someone may think of it that way.

Personally, I think it's a great ride. Disney isn't FORCING people to ride it.

so true, so true..they warn people all the time and disney gives you the choice so they should not be blamed

AGREED! How many times do you have to hear, read, see: "Those who are made un comfortable by, Enclosed dark spaces, spinning, or load noises, should by-pass this"

exactly. they have those signs EVERYWHERE. it's kind of hard to miss. if you have an inkling of a doubt, you shouldn't ride it. i mean if you're thinking 'well, i only get uncomfortable in the dark sometimes..' it's best not to take the chance.

Anybody want to bet how long it is before they close it?

I give it til the end of this year...

And my parents only let me ride it once...cuz they hated it the first time. This last time I ALMOST went on it...but there was not enough time before Illuminations...all that time, money, effort, and imagineering...gone to waste. :sad2:

And I want to ride it again! :sad2:

I want to ride it again! But I doubt my parents would let me after all the news :guilty:

i didn't get on it.
i was scared. i admit.
but i would now, cos my dad went on it & loved it! twice! and he has back problems.

but i don't get another chance cos we're probably never going again (until i'm paying as my parents say xD)
