Gray hound

I live up right near Edmonton and when I read about the attack on the Greyhound I was horrified. The bus was travelling from Edmonton to Winnipeg and all of the news reports are saying that it was "a completely random act of violence." That's the scariest part because that just means that the guy didn't have all of his marbles which means anyone could have been the victim.

I've never seen or heard anything like this up here so it is definitely creepy, especially since the greyhound is still considered to be the safest method of transportation in Canada.

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

ive heard of a few attacks but its still safer and more relibule then planes and on time. Trains I have been on and its not bad but the way i have to do it is take a train to flagstaff and then go to anihime, but its shorter time on grayhound.

I still think that they greyhound is a safe method of travel. Living in Alberta I can tell you that I have never heard of anything this horrifying! It's a very sad incident but I do believe it's an isolated one. If needs be I think that I will still take the Greyhound, I feel that it is still one of the safest methods of travel in Canada.

i liked last year for one reason. they had the dogs walking around and guards wer ewtahcing closely. I thought it was safer then i had seen before.

Upon learning more about this case, I thought that the victim, was traveling with the killer, as in, they knew each other, were friends, but apparently, they were complete strangers, to one another, now that element, for me, makes this case, even more horrific, for it could have been anyone, including the driver, that was murdered. This is just such a horrible, case, I sure would like to know what the killers, motive (s) were. This case is like a scene from a horror movie, or could even be the movie itself.

Ouch...here I am getting my international news and current events on the disboards!

Seriously though.. that is tragic. :sad2:

I guess My question would be, How are buses safer then planes?
