Wondering if anyone knows where the staff/freight elevators are &/or if there are any known noisy areas on the decks to avoid having staterooms near. I am considering an "end" (end of a group of cabins on deck 7) room that is next to the grey area on the plans and wondering if that is a good idea or not. You always have the concern of potentially noisy neighbors (but I am the one with the loud kids) but is the blank area to be avoided as well?

Thanks,

Dave's site lists only deck 1 & 2. I have read on these boards complaints from people next to the luggage rooms etc was wondering where they were.

we were on deck 7 near aft elevators on our last cruise....very quiet, as well as a very convenient location....

We were on Deck 7 forward of the forward elevators. Very quiet and not much traffic. The officers offices(say that 3 times fast) are forward of these cabins so it was very quiet and no one walking thru on their way to their cabins. We've booked this location again.

We were aft near a freight elevator and there was not any noise that bothered us. Of course, we were gone during the day.

The most noise we heard was from the unloading of materials at Castaway Cay soon after we docked on morning. That actually woke us up. The noise was from outside, not from the hall or freight elevators.

We were in the middle of the boat near the elevators on Deck 6 n and one floor up from kids areas. Did not hear a thing. I booked the same rooms again I enjoyed the location so much.
