gratuity added?

i read on the disney dining plan brochure on the disney site that 18% gratuity is added if you consume wine and/ or alcohol. is this true

If you have an adult beverage with dinner you will get a bar bill with an autograt on it
It is usually a separate ticket.
Will vary depending upon the venue and where they have to get the drinks.
