Hi:
We will be in Disney for my gd's 6th birthday and got a great reply about PrimeTime for dinner. I was going to do the Crystal Palace for breakfast, but I'm also wondering about Wispering Canyon. We have had breakfast there before and have enjoyed the antics, so I wondered if anyone had done a birthday breakfast there and/or at the Crystal Palace and wondered which one would be more fun for her.
Thanks

They are both good choices - it depends if she would enjoy having the characters more or not. Another great choice is Cape May at the Beach Club - alot of food choices and Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale. It has a relaxed atmosphere and out the back door and your at Epcot or Hollywood Studios via boat.

Thanks for the reply. I'm still torn between the two. Since we are attending a princess breakfast another day, I'm not as concerned about the characters. I wish there was a breakfast with Buzz because he's her favorite character and has been since she was 2.

Let me just say that it depends on the six year old for Prime Time. The wait staff interacts with everyone as if you are a child at your kitchen table in the 1950's, which means saying things like "eat your veggies" and "shame shame shame on the tattletale." While this is great fun for adults (I just LOVED "Aunt Janet," our waitress), very serious children likely will feel more stressed than enjoying interaction like this. So, you'll have to use your judgment and knowledge of this particular child to determine if this dining choice will be a good one for her.

Just my thoughts! I hope she has a magical birthday! :goodvibes

Thank you Ladyzolt for the reply. We have eaten at Prime Time several times through the years and she's been there once so I think she'll be fine, but I do agree with you about the temperment of a child determining whether it's fun or not. I'm just trying to figure out where it will be more fun for her. I was leaning towards Whispering Canyon because of the open atmosphere, but I didn't know if it was as laid back at dinner as it was at breakfast because we've done breakfast there, but never dinner.
Thank you again for the reply.

Whispering Canyon dinner can go both ways If your sitting way in the back your really not involved. They have had some menu changes depending when you were last there. We were there in Sept and honestly we weren't impressed at all with the food. Our server was awesome but the food left a bit to be desired.

Best of luck whatever your decision.
