Hi all,
I thought this was the most appropriate board for this even though its not strictly a wedding. I will be visiting WDW in Dec 2013 and celebrating my 15th wedding anniversary (and our fourtieth to boot) and I wanted to surprise my wife with a romantic dinner to celebrate. I was thinking of hiring the Grand1 for 90m for dinner and to watch the fireworks.

Just looking for general feedback on the idea as I have been to WDW before. For example is 90m long enough? What does the hire fee actually cover?

Thanks in advance.

The fee includes the boat and the driver. Dinner is extra, and there are a limited number of hot dishes that can be served due to the limitations of the boat.
Book as early as possible, though. They sell out fast.

We are going for our one year anniversary in May and thinking of booking the Grand1 for desserts and fireworks! You could always have dinner at the Grand then take the yacht out for desserts and fireworks? Depending what you wanted to eat and what time. She might also be happy with dinner then you can surprise her with the yacht afterward! :) From the pictures I've seen it definitely looks worth it and amazing. Happy early anniversary! :goodvibes

That sounds like a beautiful surprise.

Please take pictures to share.

Happy Anniversary and Birthday!!
