I haven't tried it yet, but I'm pretty sure that we are going to get Memory Maker for our trip too. Like you, I am always behind the camera, and with this being DDs first trip, I'd like to really take advantage of the MM photo options.

I didn't read your reasoning, but I think that your meal switch is a good plan. We also switched out our 'Ohana reservation (which makes me sad because it is one of my favourites) because the Poly is just a mess right now and I'd rather wait until it is all sorted out.

Yeah, 'Ohana is definitely one of our favorite's too It is kind of a mess at the moment though. We have not been to 1900 Park Fare since 2006, so we want to go back, plus since we are staying at the Grand that night before, it just makes more sense to go there this time around!

We are at about 80% sure that we are going to try out Memory Maker, I think this would just be the perfect trip to try it on! I would love to have lots of pictures of us actually together on our Anniversary..

That's so great that you guys are doing memory maker on your first trip!! You have a bunch of days to get loads of photos, you could potentially REALLY get your money's worth of them!

I'm really hoping that Maleficent is awesome. My mother is actually fangirling over it. And even the DBF is pretty curious about it now after seeing the trailers!

Yay for almost Memory Maker! Haven't used it before but I will be adding it to our ressie sometime soon. Like the ride photos and just think we will be more driven to get more photos with characters and us now.

Yeah, after seeing the trailers "a few" times we are really excited to see it! She looks so much like Maleficent it is crazy to me.

Last night we did in fact decide that we were going to go ahead with getting Memory Maker! We had the extra $ set aside as overage and we really would like photos of us together on our anniversary so we are going all in for it! I did tell him that anytime we see a free photopass photographer we are going to stop!

I now have my trip report journal ready to go for this June vacation!! I thought what better journal could I use if we are at Disney during Star Wars Weekend than this one??

I am so silly, I love to semi-coordinate my trip report journals with whatever is going on at the time. Which I guess means I need to find some sort of Animal Kingdom inspired journal for the July trip!

I finally decided to definitely make a Vacation Video for this trip! I have already pretty much picked out the songs I am going to use as well as in a few days I am going to start shooting some B-Roll and figuring out which shots I definitely want video of at WDW! I am very excited as most of you all know by now, and I can't wait to get this show on the road!

Special Delivery!! I was happy when I went outside to check the mail this afternoon to find our Magic Bands Box inside! I love the DVC slides that came with them!!

Also arriving in the mail today were our Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets and our Harambe Nights tickets! So a good Disney Mail day altogether!

I still think it is pretty funny we may be there at the same time frame in October Jeremy started a PTR for that trip today! I put the link in the first post. I am not allowed to look though because the trip plans are a surprise for my birthday

I know you guys look forward to my changes by now right? Oh you don't? You are just kidding me, I know you love them!

There are quite a few this time...most of them stem from us biting the bullet and getting the Memory Maker package! So here are the changes for today

First day at Animal Kingdom, Fastpass switcheroos:
We decided to definitely go ahead and go to the resort first thing to get our parking pass, etc, and I went ahead and did online check-in and signed up for the room ready notice! 12:05-1:05 is now Expedition Everest, after that still lunch at Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe. 1:15-2:15 Kilimanjaro Safari and 2:20-3:20 Disney Pals at Adventure Outpost! Now then, we also decided that anytime we see a Photopass photographer and/or character with short or no lines, we are gonna get our pics taken! We never do this, so it will be so much fun actually making an effort for the "first time in forever"...see what I did there? Wait you didn't? Well it is line in the song from...oh nevermind! Everything else this day is the same back to the hotel, dressed and ready for V&A, bed...moving on

Star Wars Weekends Day changed a bit actually so here is the crammed and short version! Well maybe not short but...anyways...
Arrive 6:00-6:30 to get in line for autograph FP (maybe or maybe not)but at least get there early to be able to see the Stormtrooper pre-show! First thing Sci-Fi Galactic Breakfast. 9:25-10:25 FP for Star Tours, 10:30 Check-in for Motorcade Viewing and Feel The Force, After parade line up for first show at 1:45, FP for the 2nd show arrival at 3:05-3:20 for the 3:30 show. Moved our D-TECH Me to 4:20 instead of 1:00. A little shopping after that and/or character stalking. 6:00 Line up for the 7:00 show, then the Lobot Dance Party after that, 8:25-9:25 FP for Tower of Terror, then back to the Fireworks Dessert Party to cap off the fun-filled Star Wars Day!! You will also notice that we decided to cancel our dinner res, with a breakfast and snacks and a dessert party we are just gonna wing it with Quick Service, we can always go to those restaurants on any of our other trips this year or next or whenever, but this will be the only chance to experience Star Wars Weekends this year.

The next day the plan changes are as follows, breakfast, car masters, etc stays the same. Gonna head over to MK to get a parade spot for Festival of Fantasy early afternoon, 3:10-4:10 Buzz Fastpass. 4:30 take the monorail over to Grand Floridian for our Afternoon Tea Res, 6:55-7:55 Space Mountain FP, 7:55-8:55 Seven Dwarfs Mine Train FP, then back to the hotel to pack up and sleepy time. You will also note that we canceled the Liberty Tree Tavern res for this night, we did make a res for the Very merry Dinner at Liberty Tree for our November trip before the MVMCP.

I think the last of the changes is the next day in which I switched our Keys to the Kingdom Tour time from 9:30 to the 9:00 tour, we have to arrive 15 minutes early which will put us inside MK before it opens! and we will have a little time afterwards for potential photopass photos etc!

I think those are all the changes for the past few hours. I keep trying to make everything as efficient as possible while we still get to do everything we want. It is hard to put everything you want to do in a Disney trip because there are so many awesome things to sift through...I don't understand those people that think if you have been once it is enough...I have been a bunch of times and still have not done everything...and we may never do everything considering they keep adding new stuff all the time!!

It is funny that we may be there for the same October time frame and birthdays!! I took a peek at Jeremey's PTR, haven't said hi yet, trying to not seem like a stalker and that I spend so much time on the disboards... (I have a life I swear!)

lol, love the changes! I'm so boring with no changes, although I think once I get the chance to make FP+ ressies that will change.
