I saw a comment referring to differences between the GV at Kidani and Jambo and wondered if anyone could detail the differences? I'm calling next week to book a GV for Nov 2012 for a party of 12.
The Kidani secondary bedrooms are separated by the loft area so there is more privacy. The Jambo House secondary bedrooms share a wall and all the noise from the other one.

Kidani has 16 GVs and Jambo House only has 6. Better odds on getting a GV.
Also note in the above diagrams that for one of the Queen bedrooms in Jambo house the guests in that room must cross a common hallway to get to their bathroom. I've always found this a bit odd.
Thanks all for the info. For us it seems to be coming down to Kidani and we don't think the biggest negatives (for us) being the long walk and no CS are enough to switch.
One thing - from what I've been able to read I get the impression that the Kidani pool has the splash pad and is more kid friendly but can anyone confirm if it has a zero-depth entry? With so many little kids this is a big deal for us.

Has splash pad and zero entry. Kids water play area is very good. Pool is smaller than Jambo but has longer slide; has a lot less shady areas than Jambo. To avoid long walks request room close to lobby and hope you get it because if you get far from lobby it is not a "long" walk, it is instead the "longest" walk down an internal hallway from lobby to room that you will ever take in any hotel on the face of the earth.
Ok, I've done a bunch of reading from various sources - official reviews and online forums - and honestly think either one is going to be fantastic. This post is more for future people who may be researching the topic and obviously we haven't been there yet but I don't see how we could go wrong either way. We're going to go with Kidani because of the extra sleeping space in the loft and layout of the villa. Even that is only by the thinnest of margins considering the Jambo GV is actually bigger.
4 nights in 2 Art of Animation family suites and then 5 nights at the Kidani Grand Villa. Ressie made for Nov 2012 today. We are good to go!
