Will the new Animal Kingdom DVC resort have grand villas??

Yes! But what's not clear yet is if there will be any GVs in the Lodge building or just in the new building. Keep an eye on the Mousecellaneous board -- lots of AKV discussions going on there, including discussions about the GVs -- so any news on this topic will probably be posted there.

Here is some info that I received from member services on the Grand Villas

Unfortunately, due to the configuration of Disney's Animal Kingdom
Lodge, it was not possible to offer Grand Villas in the Main Building as
Concierge Accessible. Be advised the Kilimanjario Club rooms are
extremely limited.

All Grand Villas, in both buildings, will have Savanna views. According
to the point charts, there are no Grand Villas listed under Standard
View.
