Grand Villa Reservation Question?

We are wanting to get a grand villa at OKW for 12/19-12/24/07. The problem is our home resort is SSR. Does anyone think I have a chance to book OKW at 7 Months? Is it worth the effort? SSR is almost 100 points higher...THANKS!!!

I think you have a chance if you call day by day when they open 7 months out. I'd make a back up reservation for SSR coming up just in case.

Not to be discouraging but I just tried to get one for August, exactly seven months out and couldn't get it. The woman at MS was even a little suprised because as she said "that's not even a holiday." Now I am kicking myself that I didn't try to trade points with a OKW owner so I could have confirmed 11 months out. Maybe you could try that?

I got on the waitlist for a GV at OKW in April for a Nov. trip. It was right at the 7 month mark. Had a reservation at VWL just in case the waitlist didn't come through. In September I got the GV reservation. I had told them to change it automatically if all the dates came available. When I did call @ 7 months all nights but the first were available. And it was 190 points less than our VWL reservations (2 two bedrooms). It was great for our group of 8.

Give it a try with a confirmed reservation that you would be happy with.
