Grand Villa @ Disneyworld rental?

It's been recommended to me to ask DVC members about "renting points to stay in a grand villa @ WDW". Our party numbers 11 at this point, so it sounds as if a grand villa is the only option within the park where we can stay together. Could you please advise how this point rental works and if anyone knows (a) where I could see pictures/layout of a grand villa; and (b) are there any available for next October?

Grand Villas are found at OKW (27), BWV (7), SSR (36) and AKV (22). All are in the 2200 - 2400 square foot range and will sleep 12 guests. They have 4 bathrooms and 3 BRs and a sleep sofa.

If you are wanting a GV for October, 2007 - you may be out of luck at this late date. If you're looking for October, 2008 there is plenty of time since reservations cannot be made until this November.

You will need to submit your request on the DVC Rent/Trade Board. Be sure to read the "POSTING RULES:REQUIRED READING" at the top of that board.
