These just look like an extension of the emergency stairs to me. Probably to allow emergency access to the roof. They appear to be too small for a restaurant. That permit could be for the pool bar.

Agreed. Or any number of other types of "restaurant". I said, "Could be" because I remembered seeing the following drawing showing something larger than an elevator shaft on the roof (lisareniff - don't know if this is what you were referring to):

Interesting. Well the pic I posted is nothing close to as tall as that drawing. It is round and in the middle, but I think it's roof may be level with the top or at most one floor higher (so we can't see on the MK side).

The ones at the stair towers are the stair roof access, top of the hoist way for the elevator and I would think that the partially open part is the mechanical room.

The one on the inside of the “C” is a different situation that looks like prime restaurant

Has anyone notice that there is an exit door on the 2nd floor of the GVs, if my count is right that is the same level as the “potential restaurant.

That's my thoughts exactly. I'm not sure if it's big enough for a restaurant but a nice lounge with snack foods would be nice!

Well if the tree is up, that must mean we're not getting the elevated center area with the MK view in the proposed renderings. That's too bad.

The renderings are pretty small, but that structure on the roof really just looks ornamental to me.

I think that structure is still on top of the roof. I really think it's just ornamental. It's only the width of two studios, which doesn't really allow much room for a restaurant. It could be a small lounge, but as already pointed out, BWV also was supposed to have a DVC lounge.

It doesn't look like there are any grand villas on the inside of the building, just on the outside.

Any floor plan info, particularly for the rooms that face the MK? I'm hoping there will be some studios with MK views - that way I can convince DH to buy DVC.

Thanks for posting the photos! I'm still amazed that when we were there in October there was really nothing going on there yet and now its so far along. I can't wait to see how it all looks when we are back this October. Hopefully by then we will hear some kind of announcement on the villas and how many children we will have to sell to buy there!
