Grand Tea

Going to Grand Tea on June 12th for the first time. What can I expect and what attire is required. Thanks

oh is this the tea at the grand floridian? I will be there on the 12th at 2pm!!! If its what you are talking about, Im going to wear a summery dress for the occasion and my hubby is going to wear smart shorts and a shirt! the food looks yummy and we will treat it as our lunch. Im planning on the grand tea and my hubbys having the buckingham palace!

I'm waiting to hear some comments on this as well. I would love to take my 3 little girls to this tea.

It says for the "Mrs. Pott's" for children that they will receive chocolate milk. My two youngest love tea. Do you think they will substitute for tea or will I have to pay extra.

Do you think a 4, 6, and 8 yr. old would be okay to take here. I'm assuming yes, because there's a child's choice on the menu.

I wore shorts and a nice T-shirt when I went. Just stay away from tank tops, flip flops, etc. (beachwear).

I love the tea and will be there on June 17th. I've always regretted not taking my kids (they are big tea lovers). I'm sure they could drink tea also. The food is excellent and the scones are the best I've ever had. You will never be able to eat another dry, Starbucks scone again after this.

The GF Tea is a must do for DD and me on every trip. I try to look a little nicer than my schlep around the park clothes, but you'll see everything from dresses and sports jackets to schlepy park-wear. Getting tea for the kids is no problem. I can't say enough great things about this tea. Warning - you get as much food as in a meal, so I wouldn't plan a big dinner for that evening. I rarely eat dinner after tea; maybe just a snack. The tea sandwiches, the scones, the strawberries, the pastries, oh my! Can't wait to go back in October! Enjoy!!!!

So true. On my last trip, I had a 2:30 tea time and I had an evening PS at Artist Point which I did not want to miss. Needless to say, I was full when I got to Artist Point but still had to stuff the food down. I was feeling pretty bad all that night and part of the next day.

yes its a must to get a PS if you really want to go as its quite popular i hear

When I called (last week) to get my PS for June 17th, they were wide open. I had my pick of times.

We love the tea! My DS was 6 and he loved it!! He said it was the best chocolate milk he ever had. We didn't dress up but we didn't wear our park gear either. I didn't think there was enough to skip dinner or even eat a light dinner, but it was delicious! A must for our next trip.

They have lots of other things you can get. I don't remember, but you can basically get anything.
