Grand One Yacht Questions

Hi - I was looking into renting the Grand One Yacht for an upcoming family reunion. I read in Birnbaum's that it fit up to 16 people but on the Dis I saw it only fit 12 people. Has anyone actually done this cruise before? Also can you rent it for only one hour? I was thinking it might be more economical than the Grand Gathering's Magical Wishes Cruise? any thoughts?

I would call the grand floridian and ask for the conceirge. They can give you the 411. I've never rented it, but I have seen it crusing around with guests looks like fun.

Hi,
The Grand 1 holds 13 passengers. The book that you read said 16 because at the time, the boat was a 48' Sea Ray. The new one is a 45' Sea Ray. You can rent it for a minimum of 1 hr. Call (407) 824-4682 for reservations or info.

It is an amazing experience. We had about 10 people and it didn't feel too full, but a few more might have. We all sat out on the front and watched wishes. It was absolutely wonderful. We were out for an hour.

We have rented Grand One several times and have never had a bad trip. The largest group we have taken was 12 during a family trip a few years ago and we ordered a fruit platter, a dessert platter and beverages to be onboard. We have the concierge reserving Grand One during our May trip for a couple of hours.

thanks everyone! It sounds wonderful - we have 16 in our group so we will probably have to do the Magical Fireworks cruise - are there any other options for this many people on one boat? It sounds like 12 is the max for all the other specialty cruises.
