Grand Marshalls?

How does someone get lucky enough to be picked to be Grand Marshall of a parade? I'd love to find a way to get my parents picked as Grand Marshall in honor of their 40th anniversary for our trip in 2007. Any ideas?

I've always heard that getting picked as Grand Marshalls is completely random. You have to be in the right spot at the right time. Usually a CM stops to talk with you and asks a few questions to see if you have the "right stuff" to be a GM.

For something like a 40th Anniversary, it probably wouldn't hurt to stop by Guest Services in whatever park you are in and talk to them about it.
