Hi,
I just made a bunch of priority seating reservations for my family of 11 that will be in WDW in early July. When I spoke with the Dining reservationist, she mentioned that there is a distinct possibility that my family may not be seated together although we made reservations. Does anyone have experience with eating together with large groups and if you were seated together? I reserved: Chef Mickeys, 50's Prime Time, Alfredo Di Roma's, Whispering Canyon, Biergarten so far. Any other suggestions of where they will accept large groups? Thanks so much for your help in advance!

We've got 11 in our crew for Free Dining in September. When I made our ADRs, the CM told me point blank that we were going to have to be at 2 tables...one ADR is 3 tables.

He did say that all the tables should be close together though.

I'm not sure where you can try to be guaranteed to all sit together. I am trying to think whether or not I have ever seen any tables pushed together while in the "World". I don't ever remember seeing it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Getting them to put two tables together seems to be the only option to be at the same table though.

We have eleven in our party too....we are going in 26 more days. We only have a couple ADR's for the entire group and we were specifically told that we would be seated at TWO separate tables.

I just spoke to them today. Certain restaurants such as Crystal Palace, Chef Mickeys, and Whispering Canyon do have tables that can seat up to 12 people. The problem is that they may have only one of these tables and when it is taken the CM will suggest spliting the party up or say that you MAY have to sit at separate tables. They said the way to increase the possibility of having separate tables next to each other is to have a ADR for the first 15-20 minutes the restaurant is open or the last hour.

We went with 13 for Christmas week in 2004. We had separate tables in Crystal Palace and Le Cellier. We were one table for Yachtsman, Mama Melrose, Hoop-de-Doo, Narcoosees, Biergarten, Rose & Crown, and Ohana. And we ate at standard dinner times - between 6 and 7.

they told me that too on my grand gathering what it was was they had two tables next to each other it was not one big table. the rest do not have big tables to fit everyone so they will put you together at different tables

I just made our ADR's for a party of 16. The Concourse Steakhouse can seat us at 3 tables but said we would be together. At Whispering Canyon I was told we would have 3 tables of 5 and 1 table for 2. HUH? So 1 person will have to eat alone? The CM also said there was NO guarantee we would be close. This is the 1 place everybody wants to eat at. So I guess I'll be dining alone! :teeth:
A couple of years ago we had a party of 17 for the ParkFare, we were at 2 different tables across the resturant from each other. Not fun. I hope it works out for you!
