So after being gone from here for a while, I am back! I have read thru several of the threads and got enough information to decide NOT to do anything other than Tony's... but does GG status help you get tables together at other ADRs? :confused3I have booked everything for just 5 of us as I could not do much on the website for more than 5... if I call WDW-DINE do they help get us ALL seated? There will be only 9 of us with another two possibly joining us... we won't know for a month or so on them but I would like for at least a couple of ADRs together. I REALLY want O'Hana and one of the other members wants Tusker House. Please help as I am out of the loop on this. THANKS!

Oh, our new dates are Dec. 16-23, 2010.

I am going to move this to the Disney Restaurants Forum.

Hi there,
In my experience, booking through Group dining DOES NOT GUARANTEE tables together. Sorry for the caps, but wanted to make this point. Several times on our trips over the past few years; I'd book through Group dining, we'd show up at the restaurant, and half the time our tables would be separated; sometimes right next to each other, a couple of times across the dining room from each other. I usually book at the 180 day mark too, and book at restaurant opening (most of the time) to try to increase likelihood of sitting together: didn't help.:confused3

It's important to note however in our situation I usually booked for 21-26 people (yes, I married in to a large family and we all love Disney!).:grouphug:

I have also booked separate smaller ADRs through regular dining (ex. 1 table of 8, a second table of 8, and a third table of 6); these ADRs would be linked together (according to the CM who helped me) and even then we did not always get seated near each other then either.

I'm probably not helping (sorry!) but just relaying my experiences.

I would recommend making the other ADRs you mentioned for everyone including your relatives who might not show; it's harder to add people after to an ADR, and if you show up two short I think its easier (on you). That's just my opinion though.

:thumbsup2Go thru the GG line at your 180 day mark. The GG of 12 that I organized ate as a lg group at Ohana's, Chef Mickeys, Cape May Cafe, Hoop de Doo and Grand Floridian Cafe. Even tho' we were not "guarenteed" to sit together, we were everytime.
