Grand Gathering

I was wondering if there are any free benefits to telling Disney I am with a party of 12.

I read that we are able to book special events at a cost, but is there anything we will be entitled to, without paying, for a group?

Right now we have 3 reservations. Disney does not know we are together. Is there any good reason to tell them?

You'll need to get a Grand Gathering number first, then give the number to them. I believe the qualifier for getting the number is at least 8 people with 80% staying on site.

Depending on the type of ressie, it will get you seating close together, etc.

Sorry, nothing free that I know of.

We have our meal reservations, some we are doing together, some apart, but I didnt know if we would get a picture, keychain etc...for telling them we are all together!

My TA said that they will keep Grand Gatherings close to each other in the hotel room set-up. That is a big deal to us since we are bringing reinforcements to help manage the kidlets.

we're part of one too and i think it's just a case you can book some of the pre-designed things for grand gatherings but nothing free I've heard of - we're hoping they do the grouping thing for the hotel rooms too as we could do with the back up
