Grand Gathering Dining Question

Next year we are planning on taking our extended family (about 13 people total) to stay at our DVC home resort in a grand villa. We are considering purchasing the dining plan, but we would like to know if the individual families (about 5) could have their plans separated in order to separate the non-included tip at each meal. TIA for any information.
